From Ree Gardens, and multiple Tamiami show vendors, plus Jesse Durko's nursery and Sunshine Bromeliads, here are some favorites that I did not resist:

Geogenanthus ciliatus

So shiny that the leaf tops are hard to photograph.

Underside is not as shiny but also pretty.

Vanilla karem christianae, which I had to Google as I'd never heard of it before.

Hoffmania roezii chewed on by an evil snail upon arrival in Puerto Rico.

Xanthostemon chyrsanthus red

Wow! very nice haul. And a red penda? Must be spectacular in bloom.

Thanks to both of you!

Yes I was excited to find this one and if/when it blooms I'll be glad to share a photo. FYI it came from Gardino's nursery who had a booth at Tamiami, but also ships plants.

Cindy: Looking forward to a picture in the future. I've ordered from Gardino's in the past and been very satisfied with the quality of plants received, but the shipping costs to California have become exorbitant, sometimes more than the cost of the plant itself! :bummed:  I think I'll just admire yours from a distance. ;)
