Here are mine:

The empty aquarium works well with the High output T8 bulbs.  I haven't set it up yet because I need to swap out the carpet for a more durable flooring.  It's a 150 gallon that will house a Malawi predator tank as it was before.  Last time it was running it housed Buccochromis rhodesii, Nimbochromis fuscotaeniatus, Dimidiochromis strigatus, Naveochromis chrysogaster, and Tyranochromis macrostoma.   This is my original hobby the palm hobby came many decades later.

All the palms will one day find a spot in my gardens if I can find room!  They include:

L. nitida

BxJ

(BxJ)xS

T fortunei (about 150 of them)

S. mexicana

S. minor "McCurtain"

S. uresana

R. hystrix

J. chilensis

The second incubator is full of Ch. radicalis "DoomsDave" and more BxJ seeds which have been sporadically germinating over the last year.

@ParkerK  You are a palm addict as well!  :mrlooney:

I'm using palms as a crutch @jimmyt. I was hooked on bromeliads, cycads, agaves and all sorts of botany before this!

Haha kidding, palms have always been my one and only horticultural hyperobsession.

@ParkerK Yes, I built these cone-trainer trays (detailed photo attached) which fit into the 3 raised planters I built for my wife last year. This year I stole them for palms and built her in ground planter beds.

Tjohnson, that is an awesome germinating setup. You should write it up for submission to a DIY magazine or figure out a way to market it.

Hey Parker, that's quite a list!  Any luck with the Cryosophila warscewiczii yet?  I didn't see it on your list.

Howdy Jon, thanks!

Gasp! How could I forget that one on my list, I’m most looking forward to it. Gotta update it!

The Duranta began to pop but thats about it. No luck yet, the C. warscewiczii are still brewin in the germination station. Hopefully we’ll have a heartbeat soon, I’ll keep ya posted!

Here is my little container/seedling ranch. All are Sabal minor except for the one that was closest to the camera, that is a neglected Phoenix dactylifera.

Most of the plants I grow will be used for what I call "Vigilante landscaping". Where various city, county, state, or the fed government drops the ball or absentee land owners ignore properties and there is a need for landscaping or landscape maintenance I just do it.  Current project this winter I've almost finished is an entrance to a high school where nothing was planted when the school was built. Only some of the plants in pics will be used there. Most of the one's in the pics will probably go to next winters project which will probably be a local post office that's looking really bad. I grow low maintenance plants I can propagate or start from seed easily that have fairly good drought tolerance (for S FL) because once planted and watered until they've become established they may not get much care afterward. Here's a few pics of some of the plants.

Thought some might want to see the school entrance planting area mentioned in previous post. Pic shows about 1/3 of the planting area so as you can see it takes a lot of plants.

Yes, the mix we plant in has composted chicken manure pellets in it and we also use either an osmocote or florikan slow release fertilizer .. which ever is handy and cost effective
