Looking for: Bismarkia nobilis

Looking for a Bismarkia nobilis that can be shipped to NC. I would prefer something small but a little larger than a seedling.

NC-Palms,

Look at North Texas Cold Hardy Palms on ebay.   There are several selections available.

I have a couple in 5 gal pots but have no idea how to ship them to you. Tender roots will not allow sending bareroot.

If you have an idea, let me know and I'll send you a photo of them.

Thanks,

JC

John, the cheapest freight possible is by the Greyhound bus.  I would not trust them to keep the package upright, so the pot would need to be stabilized within the packaging, and a strong package at that.  In the past I have covered the pot surface with moss and blue tape to confine the soil medium.  Then affix a piece of wood to the pot (screws and duct tape).  The wood needs to be the exact length of the packaging, so that the pot cannot move within the packaging even when overturned.

Sorry for the late reply, I just noticed this now.

How much would you want for one of the Bismarkias?
