On the way to 94F today and mid to upper 90s for a few days after that.  No rain for like 12 days now and the forecast does not show appreciable rain chances for 8 more days.  I am glad we had a VERY wet first half of May or we would be in drought by now.  Lots of watering.

83°F currently, should top out in the upper 80’s, NYC should see 90°F. It’s been dry for the past 2 weeks after a very wet April and first half of May. Long Island is drier (yet slightly more humid) than neighboring NYC and NJ so this is to be expected.

I’ve had to water everything by hand every few days, it’d have to be everyday if we were in full-on summer.

Alrighty!

Morning showers and clouds dissipated.

Temp is 22c. Forecast from here on out is sunny, sunny, sunny.

Let us see what this summer and fall have in store for us.

Looking pleasant for the first day of winter on Saturday but I'm sure we'll be in for some cooler days soon.

98F today but the afternoon humidity was pretty low so it doesn’t feel and worse than 90F usually feels here in July when the humidity has kicked in.

83°For a high, humidity didn’t go below 60%. Thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temps will be a little warmer tommorow with the storms again in the evening.

As a side note, I'm trying out the IR thermometer gun trained on the driveway cement:

About 75f currently at 2217, only got to 98f today though so seems we may have dodged a triple digit day in may. Tomorrow should be warm in the mid or high 80s and then it should cool to high 70s to mid 80s for a bit.

A ridiculous 26c here today, the day before the official first day of winter. I'm off to the beach tomorrow as it's looking bright, sunny and 25c for winter!

We ended up getting a small amount of rain down this way.  Cooled things off a little at least.  Sitting at 79F @10:15.

18C (65F) at midnight here still, off the back of a 29C (85F) day.  Pretty much everything is growing at lightspeed, despite us being in the midst of a savage drought.

94F and mostly sunny at the moment.  Updated rain chances for the next 5 days look a bit below normal.  We had a little shower yesterday, but not enough to wet the soil.

97F at the Executive Airport.  Fingers crossed for a good soaking rain later this afternoon.

70°F and sunny with low humidity. Probably the coolest day we’ll have until September.

A month ago this would’ve felt warm, now I have goosebumps on my arms. Should be back into the 80’s tomorrow.

The last couple weeks have been too hot. I haven't had a drop of rain since May 14. My area is the rain hole of Orlando. Lots of built up heat without any rain.

Not my current tempature, but we had some Spring cold and it got down to 46°F last night. When I got up this morning it was 53°F, but was sunny and actually felt a bit warmer. Most nights this late in Spring don't get colder than 60°F. Day time temps are usually in the 80s and 90s. Currently it's 70°F at 8:19.

It was definitely cooler today here too. The low was ~54, and the high around 79.

We had a much appreciated downpour for a few hours today.  Having temperatures near 100F with no rain made gardening a chore.

Our rainy season has arrived.  My location has had heavy storms the past two days and the 5-day forecast looks wet and stormy.  What a difference it makes, as maintaining my grandma’s large garden and all of my potted plants when it is in the mid to upper-90s and sunny with no rain is burdensome.

Very sunny, 30C @1:18 pm pst.

Hope this growing season lasts 'till early December.

This year we didn't get a spring. Winter turned into summer.

15C and heavy rain and wind today. It’s 6.12am and has sat on 15C all night. So the sun will likely not warm anything up at all today.

Low 70s right now, after on and off rain and thunderstorms for much of the day.  Looks like more thunderstorms will come through in the next couple hours.  Feels great outside.

Mowed and put two native palms in the ground before the first rain fall for the day.  Out potting in the garage during our second rain fall.  Barely scraped 86F before the first rain, sitting at 75F for now.

98F today and tomorrow.  So happy to have the AC fire up with no issues.

Bananas are loving it!  Already as big as they were at the end of last season.

Yeah, the heat is really kicking in here also. 93F today with low humidity 30%-35%, my cycad is starting to flush and palms are really starting to grow.  Five more days and natures AC will kick in and temps go back to seasonal '70s for a little while. :violin:

Yesterday was high winds 98F and 24% humidity.  The maple trees look rough this morning, and my livistona chinensis looks like I had a hot hair dryer on it all day.  I water heavily before this hit so all my inground plants look pretty good.

Mind to high 80s and high 60s for lows in the 10 day. Pretty typical for late "spring" here. We have had about 3 days where the lows were in the LOW 50s and didn't warm quick and stayed in the 70s that were out of place but so far it's been a pretty normal spring. Feels good to have a normal season for a change and just hope summer is typical too to get some good root out and leaf progression before the growing season is up.

Right now its 75°F according to my local weather station while my own thermometer reads 79°F. It has been a bit cooler these past few days at night. It feels good out now and it should warm back up soon.
