Please log onto the IPS website (palms.org) and go to the Palms - Current Year to see that we now have Spanish translations of selected articles. 
 
Click on the "(Leer en Español)" link to see the articles (complete with photos and captions) translated into Spanish. 
 
The translations have been checked and improved by IPS Board members Fernando Pacho Roca and Paco Marti, and we are extremely grateful for their efforts.
 
  We'll be adding more articles in Spanish soon. Feel free to announce this to your friends and promote it on social media.

I'm curious how this was done. Did we use an automatic online translator and then have it refined by our Spanish speakers?

I've used automated Spanish to English translators for sections of Dr. Bernal's book on Colombian palms.

We used free, on-line machine translation (Deep-L) and then had the translations reviewed and corrected by native Spanish speakers.
