You should be investigated for pumping those things up with performance enhancing chemicals.

Thanks Bill for posting some photos of your wonderful garden.  Hoping next time I’m in the acres I could stop by and visit.  I really enjoyed getting to see your garden last time I had a chance.

PS keep posting some more photos.

Is that Palm Karaoke? What song are you crooning?

I am overdue for a shopping visit. Such an extravagant garden. Always fun to see the bus.

Bill's Dypsis palms are just amazing. I have an interesting Big Island Dypsis experience, so maybe I can intrude on this thread momentarily with a comparable item. Here is one of my Dypasis mananjarensis, planted April 2013 in Big Island cloudy, humid full sun from a 2-gal bucket. 5-gal orange bucket for scale.

Notice what is at the base on the left side. Here is a closeup:

The palm doesn't even have a trunk yet! Another mananjarensis planted 15 feet away does have 6 inches of trunk (but no inflorescence).

No escaping the Home Depot Orange Crack Buckets!

Typical of Mike "orange bucket man" Merritt. BTW, the inflorescence is now an infructescence developing fruit.
