New and updated seed list as of March 7th, 2019:

Elaeis guineensis var. Idolatrica. The seeds come from the palm pictured, a mutation that creates a smaller crown and entire leaf which looks unique to say the least. This mutation comes fairly true to seed with about 70% showing this characteristic. I have a limited quantity of these at $2.50 each or 10 for $22.

The following are priced at 25/$8, 100/$18, and 500/$50.

Livistona decora
Dictyosperma album
Thrinax radiata
Thrinax parviflora
Gaussia gomez-pompae
Sabal causiarum
Sabal maritima
Sabal bermudana
Copernicia tectorum
Roystonea oleracea
Livistona chinensis
Aiphanes minima
Oncosperma tigilliarum

Sabal minor "Cherokee" - 25/$8, 100/$15, 1000/$55, 5000/$200
Hyphaene coriacea - 10/$8
Veitchia winin - 10/$6, 25/$10

Also, I have Zamia standleyi seed at $1.50 each or 10/$12. You can PM me here, or email me at faulknerspalmsllc@gmail.com.

Wouldn't it be nice if others that sell seed that their seed would arrive promptly, fresh and nothing but positive results? A great concept!

I had 7 out 10 Livistona alfredii seeds germinated after a week since arrival! Compared to a final germination rate of 2 out of 10 Livistona muelleri seeds from another source, it is overwhelming!

Do these rainforest palms tolerate the low humidity of indoor environments or is the humidity important for them?

I grow mostly rainforest understory palms indoors in Oregon. You'll need to stay on top of keeping humidity levels at around 50% at all times, especially in the winter. That said, I would venture to say that humidity levels are not as important as other factors are. If you have good light, decent soil, and a judicious nutrition program, you'll be amazed at what you can grow indoors.

Out of 10 delivered seeds of Hyphaena coriacea, 5 have germinated and one has turned out hollow. Imo for Hyphaena a very good score, I am as pleased, as I could be. Christian, could you please pm me details about origin of those seeds?

Very interesting you have listed Pritchardia viscosa for sale. Dept. of Ag in Hawaii would love to know all about this one.

Well the Department of Ag in Hawaii has their seal on the package the seeds came in, so I would hope they already do? I'm fully aware of the conservation status of this species.

I just got these Mountain Coconuts to plant, but they seem a bit too green. Would they be able to germinate? I read it is pretty hard to germinate those anyway.  Should I remove the mesocarp (the green husk)?
I was planning on letting them dry for a few weeks, then a few weeks in the fridge, then soak them for a few days, then plant them halfway burried in topsoil/peat moss mix and leave them outside to experience daily temperature variation.
Does enyone have experience germinating Parajubaea Torallyi?

Does anyone know what these are? They were found washed up on the beach. There are 2 fruits and one with the fruit removed, revealing the seed. The fruit was sticky and almost web-like.

I'm a newbie here so please be forgiving.  I recently purchased a Cabbage Palm as an anniversary gift for my husband.  We live in the northern part of Middle Tennessee (zone 7A) so for now, we are keeping the 4-foot tall palm in a very large exterior-glazed terracotta pot.  I have a greenhouse where we will overwinter the tree.  We would like to eventually put it in the ground but I don't know if that's going to be possible here.  I haven't been able to find any information about potted cabbage palms.  If anyone has any advice whatsoever, please feel free to pass it along.

I collected some Sabal palmetto seeds from Virginia Beach off of an older palmetto there in July, I just now removed the dry fruits from some of the seeds, and they look kind of light. Could this just be because they were still in the fruit? They all sank in water. I am just used to the seeds being a bit darker.
