Here is the backyard area/slope. It's more trees than palms and planning on not being able to see my upstairs neighbors in a few years. I had a very large Eucalyptus sideroxylon removed that was in decline and in danger of doing some damage. Also removed a bunch of hodge podge bushes and weeds and had an empty canvas to work with. Put in all the hibiscus on the retaining wall planter and replanted the slope with tropicals and a few palms. Used the existing irrigation lines to tap in a run individual spitters to each tree/plant. Before they just had 360 degree pop up sprinklers that wasted a lot of water

Dypsis affinis x tokoravina getting acclimated, has some burn but should get over it....hopefully! It gets a good amount of sun in this location

Acrocarpus fraxinifolius...gonna be a big boy some day and give some shade to the Alocasia 'Dark Star'

Ceiba speciosa, my wife named him Spike. doing good, probably double in size in the last 6 months

Kigelia africana, also almost doubled in size, don't know if I'll ever gets some sausiges though.
