here are my palmy Pics from around raleigh.  I went for the IBMA bluegrass event.  Day one I saw a Sabal palmetto and a small windmill palm.  Windmill palm age unknown but the Sabal has been there around 5 years according to a neighbor.

Day 2. I saw my first sabal minor in the area.  this one might be naturalized and is a good size.  many volunteers around it too.

Day 3.  I did not go palm hunting as I was busy at the bluegrass convention but I did notice these smaller planted sabal minor in a public park

Day 4.  Saw Some mature windmill palms by an Italian restaurant I discovered through facebook.  En route were some Sabal minor near the science center.

Thats all the palms I saw.  technically there were more sabal minor in that park and more windmills in that italien restaurant but i dont want to post too many pictures.  hope you all enjoyed.  Id love to learn more about these palms.
