Very long taproot for small plant

First thought was possibly something in the Acanthus family (  Plumbago sp.?)  A Jasmine of some sort also came to mind, but the way the flowers are arranged along the stem is off...

Silas, I failed to mention this is a weed that is exclusively in pots, rarely on the ground. It favors mainly bark mediums (orchids, bromeliads) with the main taproot being brown with age. Easily snapped off at soil level. I'll try for a better flower photo tomorrow. Thanks!

Pastel Flower, Pseuderanthemum variabile. Ground cover native to wet rain forests / Euc. forest in Australia. Australian Orchid Nursery has a discussion posted back on April 5th of this year discussing it.

Welp, after reading up on it...mine is definitely getting plucked tonight! Any tips on getting the root out of an orchid pot without disturbing the orchid roots too much? :bummed:

Actually, I might apply some Roundup with a q-tip!

Naples (inland), FL - technically 10a but more like 9b in the winter :hmm:
