A rather blue sabal minor

Found some minors at the south end of Kure Beach. This one struck me as being quite blue in color.

Looks quite blue and ought to be quite cold hardy. Was it seeding?

I was with my son and he was wanting to get back to the car. I will return to these this autumn, when the weather is cooler and mosquitos have diminished. I will scout for seeds then.

Returned to this palm today. It indeed has a bluish tint. Was very shady and is a bit hard to see.
