Amongst the seeds that I got from RPS last in January 2018 was this Acrocomia Crispa which actually germinated in March and has been steadily growing to this size in the last five months.

Is it normal for Acrocomia Crispa to measure it's growth rate with a geologically calibrated chronometer?

They are very slow at first. When planted in the ground they seem to sit for years, occasionally putting out a new leaf. They for some unexplained reason they erupt and grow very quickly.
