I was so encouraged over my success in starting my Aiphanes Horridas from seed that I ordered and, today, received 22 seeds from RPS of Licuala Mattanensis Mapu.

and into baggies they go with damp coconut  fibre

Thanks for the tip. How long should I allow the root to grow before transferring the seedling to soil?

Do you have any updates about your L. Mapu seeds? I would really like to know because they are not easy to grow. Pls let me know and some pictures would be awesome. They can take up to a year to germinate if they are not fresh. At least that’s what I read on palmpedia
