Spectacular bloodmoon

Ciczi in Sweden

Recommended Posts

Last night we had the opportunity to witness a blood moon here. When it started there was a thick string of clouds at the horizon just where the moon was expected to show up. How ever about an hour and a half later the show was spectacular. Last time we had a blood moon in Sweden, visible at my latitude was 18 months ago and then in the middle of the night.

Very nice crisp images. No clouds in sight either. I was disappointed to read it wouldn't be viewable in the Americas but glad you got to see it. So far away and yet so mesmerizing watching eclipses.
