Whether or not you agree with what he said or did, Billy Graham was nearly impossible to forget. A true lion on the pulpit with a speaking style up in the top ten.

He and I had one interesting thing in common: we both sold Fuller Brushes for a time, he in the Carolinas in the 1930s and I in Ohio in the late 1970s. Other than that, I suspect not that much. I suspect many will disagree with me for remembering him here, but, again, he's hard to forget.

The best part about him was his going out of his way to engage politically, with everyone he could, with various U.S. Presidents from Truman to Obama, bridging gaps by respecting all:

"Their personal lives - some of them - were difficult," Graham, a registered Democrat, told Time magazine in 2007 of his political acquaintances. "But I loved them all. I admired them all. I knew that they had burdens beyond anything I could ever know or understand."

An incredible man of God. He heard today from our Lord and Savior, "well done good and faithful servant". He will be missed but will always be remembered on how many people he brought the gospel to.
