5- gallon sized plant under oak canopy withstood approximately 24 hrs below freezing with an ultimate low of 20F with no damage. I threw a 5-gallon plastic bucket over this palm as it had only been in the ground for 3 months prior to this.

It was when I moved away over 2 years ago.  Not sure how it handles the epic cold front of Feb. 2021.
