Digitizing VHS Tapes

DoomsDave

Recommended Posts

I have about 200 tapes of movies, and I'd like to digitize them on a disc, or discs.

My research shows that there's a number of options out there; anyone have any experience in this type of thing?

Thanks to you all so much for all previous, present and future assistance in technoid matters.

@DoomsDave I used a product similar to this a few years ago to dub all of my VHS to DVD's.

It took a while, but eventually, I got all of them done.

Thanks! I just ordered a giant 65" TV from BB.

How do you "mention" someone? I've been trying to figure that out . . . .

The quality of a VHS transfer to digital will look like crap unless you have a high end S-VHS deck & enhancing software and even then it will not be great.

To mention someone, type the at symbol, @, and then type their screen name.

@Laaz You are definitely right about that.  I mostly did it to preserve my James Bond collection until I get DVDs or Blu-Ray.
