Gileno, thanks for posting those photos. At least I can see what my Mauritia flexuosa could have looked like. Oh well, ...as sementes brazilian não gostam de me  :)

continental climate somewhat moderated by the influence of the mediterranean sea, atlantic ocean and north sea water masses but still prone to arctic blasts from the east as well as hot and dry summers. pushing the limits is exciting.

Hi Zac, unfortunetly not, but I've asked the local gardener to save me a few, so I plan to get some of them later...it's rainning buritis all over...
