Carpoxylon beginning to mature

I haven't posted here in a while but wanted to share what for me is a significant event.  Just a few years after planting (maybe five or six), this Carpoxylon in my backyard looks as though it will hold on to this spathe.  Excited to see if it will develop to maturity.  Two previous ones aborted.  This palm has about 5 ft of clean trunk.
