HELP! I CAME FROM IKEA! WHAT AM I?

Transplanted from New York City to Los Angeles, I was fascinated by palms!  Three or four years ago I went to Ikea

and bought a beauty of a potted palm! It was about 30 inches high and was a cluster of three 2" stalks with palm fronds growing at different levels.  A year ago a fire at our house forced me to move this palm outdoors where it was lost among other plants.  Though watered regularly it soon began to look overgrown and terrible. I WANT TO RESCUE IT!  Checking

Google Images I'm fairly certain it appears to be a Dracaena (Possibly, Corn).  In the absence of a pix (trying but unsuccessful as of yet), can anyone identify this plant so I can begin to

treat it?  ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Your plant is not a palm. Looks like a corn plant or relative

Common corn plant - Dracaena fragrans 

Kinda dime a dozen, especially around big box home improvement foliage displays
