I would wait a month to fertilize..unless its

just going from pot to pot....ideal temp range

in my experience is 50-90F with plenty of water

given during warm season.

They aren't picky and seem to grow in just about anything.  Nova cant handle full texas sun when small but i suspect can handle whatever the UK can throw its way.

Are you planting it in the ground or a bigger pot? What size is it and what sort of soil have you got in your garden?

its in the ground its taking its time to grow, got claysoil with amazing drainage,i have spotted a bit of leafburn maybe from the strong sun the past few days, will take a picture tomorrow, but i wish it would pick up a bit thats why i bought a nova for its fast growth rate

Free draining clay, you have the best of both worlds! I've never heard of that before. I swear by slow release fertiliser apply in spring and forget it, also keep it watered if you get a hot dry spell. Fat chance in Wales, although its been lower 30s today. :yay::drool:
