Walking around I’d figure I’d do a little update. Some things have died, somethings have gotten quite large. I do plan on moving out relatively soon which is why there’s potted plants sprinkled throughout.

Quite a lot has changed in the yard, new wall with planting area, center area removed for grass (not my choice) and some good growth. Here’s a few pics after some fresh mulch!

Hello nephew,

Not that I don't pay enough attention sometimes, but I figured I'd tell you I just noticed your thread. (After 5-1/2 years apparently). I'm thinking, "Weird, really looks like my sister's place". Your stuff always looks great! Very cool how the Parajubea has settled in.  The companion plants are really choice as well. have you planted out your Pritchardia bakeri yet? Going to be a sweet looking tropical oasis..
