This is first one I've seen kerrriodoxa forming a trunk over the head. Never seen any trunk like this in cultivation before. Estimate age of 30 years old or more.  :D

Between walking in this forest, without any rain, we feel humid and cool all the way. And our clothes are all wet. :)  although this month is most hottest and dryest of year.

Suggestion for who growing this palm(Kerriodoxa), following is environment they were grown. They love humid and shade. Try to make similar thing like this, I'm sure your Kerriodoxa must love you.  :)

Absolutely fantastic photos! I am looking forward to my trip more and more.

Were those karst formations near Khao Sok National Park? I would like to go hiking there on my trip.

JakeK, Yes you right. First half of topic you see are from Khao Sok National Park. And surprize that have someone know little place of here. If you never mind on Blood Leech, could we take together on next trip?

Just last few photos. During the way of our trip, we visit my uncle place near Khao Sok and stay there a day for enjoy investigate his farm. There, you could see process of making sugar from Coconut  :P coconut syrup is very tasty WoW. If you can find just one coconut nearby your home, just have to try.
