Nice pics Komkrit.  Must have been a great vacation.  Love the lush forest with the backdrop of mountains.

What's with all the crazy people driving down the wrong side of the road though?  LOL.  Just kidding.

Komkrit,

You have once again, shown us all the beautiful country of Thailand. Your pictures bring back some of my best memories I have of all my travels throughout the world.Thailand is, and always will be one of my favorite places to visit. Not only does it show us the wide range of exotic palms found in the world, but the Thai people to me are the most sincere and friendliest in the world. Many thanks, and can't wait to come back!!

Those are some fantastic pictures Komkrit! Thialand is absolutely beautiful. I must go an visit.

Hope my Kerriodoxa grows up to look like some of those.

That variagated bamboo truck is very cool looking and the calamus seeds are stunning! Never have I seen seeds that looked like that! What a pattern on them.

Thanks for posting.  :)

Komkrit,

Beautiful photos! Really brought back memories of past trips to Thailand (and I'm looking forward to more - hopefully we'll have another Biennial there in a few more years!). Thanks for a great thread!

Komkrit, thanks for the amazing photos once more.  The composition of the photos are wonderful.  Thanks for making the sacrifices to get these photos that you share with us.  I totally appreciate them and look forward to visiting your beautiful country.

Komkrit, thankyou for sharing your journey with us in pictures. I love that part of the world. I've been to Thailand once but wasn't into palms at that time and didn't fully appreciate it. Since then I've been twice to peninsular Malaysia which seems very similar, and fell in love with palms like Arenga westerhoutii and all the little Pinanga's and Ignuara's. If you have any more pictures I think we'd all love to see them. Very beautiful pics.

best regards

Viva Komkrit, his love for palms, his nice camera and his distinguished sensibility !

Wowowow for the Kerriodoxas...I've just sowed some more 10 germinated seeds of these beauties...I always make fun with a palmfriend here, Acácio...in Portuguese the name "Kerriodoxas" sounds very similar to "Quero dessas" meaning "I want these"... :;):
