growing palms from seed in Coco coir and perlite 50/50

Hi guys,

I've Been growing these areca vestiaria seedlings, germination was around 4 months ago, using 50/50 perlite, fine Coco coir.

From all you knowledgeable folk out there, when should I start fertilising them and what with?

Ive also heard that coir robs calcium and magnesium, so maybe some trace elements of the two?

I'm going to make sure they are fully root bound before repotting, is this a good idea? Love your thoughts on this.

Kind regards
