Ponds & Palms

Recommended Posts

This time of year is a good time to look for deals on tropicals and Palms! I just got 2 Chamaerops humilis VERY large with pups for $40 a piece it was 1/2 price! I'm keeping them in my greenhouse until spring.  Just wanted to say keep an eye out for discounted plants! Call local garden centers to see if they have deals this time of year, you might be surprised! :)

:yay: You never see great deals like that in the PNW mostly because the nursery’s here are always stock full with unlimited amounts of different plant year round.  Good Find my friend! Looks like an awesome palm.

We recently had a long time nursery close down after more than 50 years in the business. I never heard about it until 90% of their stock was sold. :(

Cheers, Barrie.

Yeah that's a great buy. Huge chamaerops. I'm super packed with palms and vowed to not buy anymore but if I came across this I'd snatch it up in a second.
