For a while, I collected Mucuna vine species, many as "sea beans" either found myself, bought online or sold in shell shops near FL beaches.  I think I got up to about 8 species, but they all ended up drying out within a year or two as they became very long vines in small pots under a covered porch.  I'm sure I could have done much better with them if I had a yard at that time.  My favorite was of course Mucuna bennettii, which I kept in a moderately large pot and inside for several months of the year.  I lost it to spider mites and lack of humidity.

The black jade vine--just planted one in the garden and these things really take off!
