What an amazing collection.  Thankful that their is people around with the vision and the means to create sanctuaries like this. Thanks for posting.

I love that piece.  Thank you for posting it.  I recently joined the conservancy as a board member this year and it is an incredible experience to walk among the forest canopy.   Though there are really great specimens of many species demanding your attention, the forest as a whole is such an inspiring and thoughtful place.  Last year the Hawaii Island Palm Society was able to tour the forest garden and we had a great time in the garden and later talking with William and Paula Merwin on their lanai.  There is a lovely book called What is a Garden? that has beautiful photos of the garden and selected poems that will send you out into your own gardens.
