ariscott 48 Report post Posted March 9, 2008 I wished I could build something like that here in Darwin. The cost of building here is so expensive with all the cyclone coding and everything. I couldn't believe how cheap it was to build in Brisbane. With the same money, we could've got a house more than twice as big as ours. We just finished ours last year. It was really an experience I am not keen to do again!! Regards, Ari
nomolos 34 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 Yes Ari building is very stressful, I don't think I'll do it again Cheers Sol

JasonD 225 Report post Posted March 19, 2008 Beautiful house, wonderful collection of rare palms. Did I see a Meryta sinclairi too? Hobart's temperatures must be rather similar to San Francisco's, where we grow Ceroxylons, Parajubaeas, Hedyscepes etc. (with gratitude for our mildness).
