Butia x Jubaea Soil

I am getting a BxJ in the mail here any day now. It's in a one gallon pot. Just wondering what kind of soil they require, specifically drainage? I need to know this because since it is a small guy I'll need to keep it potted until it can grow into at least a 5 or 7 gallon.

Be creative. Mix some good topsoil with pine bark, wood shavings, perlite, humus, a little of peat moss, and add pumice if you can find it. you can throw in some sand if you want.

That's what I used for my potted palms, in addition to some cow manure and mushroom compost. Pumice I couldn't find, but would've been nice if I did.

Oh and theres a post around here where many members shared their mixes and I might try what some suggested.

Heres a good recipe by Phil Bergman: http://www.junglemusic.net/palmadvice/palms-potting-soil-for-palms.htm
