When the other half actually looks

I told the other half that a make shift shelf in my shade house had rusted and collapsed onto an orchid. They then had to come see how I'd dealt with the problem. I had of course reshuffled pots about and filled the space with newly potted up Dypsis leptocheilos seedlings that arrived via mail earlier in the week. I was told I'd moved the cyclamen to the wrong positions and that I had far to many palms and was banned from getting any more as there is no room to walk! I guess I can only get sun hardy palms now:rage:.

Any way this is what my container ranch looks like. I think I actually have a bit of room to play with.

It is really difficult not to have favorites but at the moment I'm really enjoying this Dypsis rosea

Lol.. this looks vaguely familiar:indifferent:,  Thinking to myself .."Just wait until 26' of moving truck gets unpacked.. and a lot of seedlings and Plumeria cuttings get potted up.. let alone all the seed i'll be dropping soon".. Where there's a nook or cranny, there will be space for something:D

Mate, she is right. The Cyclamen is in the wrong place.

There is hardly a place to walk, because there are way too many palms on the floor,

and I would be worried that  soon you will have snakes breeding.

We all know what damage makeshift rusty shelving can do to orchids, we have all been there.

It is time that you got your wife some decent, tall narrow galvanized shelving,

Mate, do the right thing. ;)

Hahahahahahaha, I'm not sure if you're aware just how funny this is.

There's no food source for snakes so they can pass through if they wish. Eastern Browns and Red Belly Blacks are fairly common here and I think they are beautiful in their scaly way. The reptile problem I'm having at the moment is an invasion of long neck turtles, they seem to like the swimming pool.

My other half is perfectly capable of organising what they need for their plants either positioning or shelving. I get told off for even touching any of the orchids even if I was the one who bought it home.

Thanks for giving me a laugh
