In my opinion, this is a very good sale, and should really target folks that are north of Palm Beach, and of course Palm Beach county. I personally grow very little in some of the more cold hardy species but there are always plenty of great palms offered by some of the other palm vendors. Not to mention that fertilizer, books and great growing advice is always offered. Please spread the word, come out and support this chapter of the IPS.

I just got back from setting up for this weekend's sale at Mounts Botanical Garden and it looks to be one of our biggest ever. If I counted right we have over a dozen vendors and a huge variety of palms and cycads. The plants all look great due to our non-winter this year and some excellent bargains also.

I hope to see you all there. Stop by and say hi.

Jeff and I were up at Mount's today setting up for the event and the sales area looked great. More vendors and more plants from the Spring sale a year ago. I didn't have a chance to look around much but there was a lot of plants in among the booths. I think there were nine to ten vendors, maybe more. We had to leave early before all the vendors had arrived and set up, but spaces were left for booths. The part of the garden near the sales area looked good, including all the tropical fruit trees. Time permitting, I will have to check the garden out again.

It was a fun morning at Mount's for the Palm Beach Spring Sale. The rainy weather kept away until one little downpour in the afternoon hours. I took a fair amount of photos and will post them later, but here are a few quick ones...
