what month is ideal to start using these from and when should I stop.how often do I apply both of these products to my trachycarpus apply both booster smd focus once a week I am thinking booster on Monday and focus on Tuesday every week or is that a bit too much I want my plants to grow faster and greener and bigger.i am thinking if starting the regime next week. Advice needed.

p.s.i read somewhere that nitrogen promotes sloppy growth in the leaves that flap in the wind.as I just found out palm focus has some in it. what's your take on this,I'm a bit reluctant to use as I don't want weak leaves.

To be honest, I would use neither. The only active ingredrient in Palmbooster is an auxin, which is a natural growth hormone. Plants use it to signal the roots to grow faster, which is exactly how it is used with Palmbooster. By adding auxines to the water, the palm "thinks" it needs to grow more roots (even though it does not) and subsequently the whole palm grows because more roots can provide more nutrients and water. If you really want to try that, buy the real deal of auxines on Ebay for a fraction of the price of Palmbooster. Also, auxines need to be used only once (ideally when it is warm and in spring when the palm starts to grow), not on a regular basis like the vendor of Palmbooster wants you to believe.

As far as Palmfocus is concerned, it seems to contain humic acid, nipacide, mineral salts and chelated trace elements. Not sure what nipacide is used for in plants, but the other three components can be found in peat and any standard palm fertilizer.
