Although there is some data in the topic Butia/Jubaea X Syagrus, it is unclear whether it involves the hybrids BJxS or JBxS. This topic is for the hybrid BJxQ (B x J) x Q. The Butia involved is either a mutt or odorata.

 

Ten gallon under Acacia (high and open canopy). Some light bronzing to newer fronds from 26.4°F after 2 weeks.

Christmas freeze 17°F wrapped in moving blanket. First winter in the ground , zero leaf burn , no spear pull

1-14-24 freezing rain @24° did get some bud rot. Zero protection 2nd winter in the ground. Wet winter prolly didn't help.
