OC2Texaspalmlvr 1,132 Report post Posted July 25, 2019 I really thought this would be an exceptional hybrid. I really wonder why this particular hybrid doesnt have a fatter trunk maybe it will work its way there 1 day. How is the hardiness for you ? @Yort

Yort 66 Report post Posted July 25, 2019 I don't know about the hardiness it is now 1,5 year in the ground. I built a small greenhouse around it during winter with heating so no risks... But I'm confident it would have survived the relatively warm winters we have had in recent years.

To me this seems like what I would want out of this hybrid I always prefer to see more Jubaea characteristics over butia or queen =) So it survived Palmageddon? If so thats worth it's money on gold as a normal mule is maybe a degree or 2 more hardy then a queen. T J
