Cyphosperma trichospadix is endemic to Fiji, Moratia cerifera is now called Cyphokentia cerifera. :)

Try to get to Mt Panie if you can.   I think a guide and permission is required.   Take a lot of photos!

If all else fails the everpresent coconut photo will  thrill most Cali crew. Collect no seed just sup the nectar.

They sometimes stop at Lifou in which case you might be able to see Cyphophoenix nucele in habitat. If you have a full day in Noumea you could try to get to the Riviere Bleue reserve.  Have a great trip.

seeds I got from New Caledonia ...not sure about their types though ( except for the coconut :) )

Please add any comment if you recognize them and any experience how to germinate them

( the big ones were not colorful when I picked them but now looks reddish)

I peeled the seeds...the big ones look exactly like "Wodyetia bifurcata" but I thought the trunk was different ...could it be a hybrid ?

They sure do look like foxtail seed. I'm guessing andonidia for the medium size ones.  Did the small ones come from the Pritchardia? Thanks for the photos, I enjoyed them!
