For the past few years it was just leaves coming out of the ground

I tore away a few dried up leaf bases and I discovered about a foot of clear trunk :D

Nice! I finally have this one. My buddy brought back some seeds from Thailand (3 popped) and I'm looking forward to planting it next to the P. Elata.
