Both are crazy..

Remember taking a detour around the Salton Sea on the way to San Diego on one of my buying trips well. Pretty sure I could have fried an Egg on the pavement that day. Also recall my trip to Phoenix when it hit 114F while in town. That being said, at least where humidity is lacking.. or perhaps down near zero, it is easier to cool down. You sweat but it still offers relief.

Here, even in the shade the oppressive humidity doesn't allow for much relief. No matter how much water you drink, humidity simply doesn't allow the body to cool much. Take it from someone who works out in it most of the day.

Still cool in South Louisiana, relatively speaking that is. With all of the cloud cover and rain, very few days even into the 90s. Finally clearing out and looking at 92/93 in a few days.

Another HOT day in Eastern Washington today, 111F/ 43.8C in Walla Walla, Pasco, Moses Lake. Not sure if these are records…Going to be a hot one this summer!

Funny on the Western side today it was very pleasant under cloud cover. Some major relief from the excessive heat!

We hit 109 yesterday with a follow up today of 100-104....current humidity id 34% with a possibility of it staying high (for us, anyway) due to moisture coming up from SoCal.

We should be in the 90s beginning tomorrow and forecast for the foreseeable future.
