Free Meryta balansae seed

Recommended Posts

LJG

I have sent out some seed to a few fellow collectors recently. One person didn't want them as he has too many plants germinating as is. So I have one more stalk of seed (maybe 1000 seed) I will be happy to send out. This is not an easy plant to germinate as it does best when sown right away when ripe. This seed is 4 months old but with 1000 you should get something.

I have decided to break them up into two as two people got ahold of me at the same time. Thanks.

Hey Len,

Yes i was gonna ask you if these are difficult, cause they have not sprouted at all yet.

They are on a heat mat and I didn't plant right away, as I now know I should have.

Anyway, might need to get some more from you when they are fresh.

And I'd like more of the Lytocarium when then fruit again.

And anything else that you might have.

Thanks!

-Joe

Joe, they like to be fresh and don't use heat. At least I didn't. Give them time, some popped a year later.

OK, I will let the flower stay on. I usually cut off most my flowers on my palms.

I have some old ones. Tough to germinate. Happy to send them if you are patient with them. Have like 200 so maybe one or two will pop :)

Pm me your address.
