"Bangalows" , up the creek.

Thought I'd share a few pics of a creek/rainforest walk @ the end of our valley only 3km from our property I took my 3 youngest kids and 1 of their friends on today, and yes there was "plenty" of Bangalows up the creek and it was a very steep climb to get "above" the waterfalls. The creek and waterfalls are running very slow as our "wet season" hasnt kicked in yet.

Pete :)

Holy Cow, wonderful.

Bet there's birds, insects, mammals and reptiles galore, too. Never hurts to see those as well.

Thanks everyone for your comments, we "love" where we live, each valley has their own little creeks and waterfalls that become raging torrents after good falls of rain, heres a thread I posted from 2 valleys to the East of ours some time ago below..

A few more pics from yday incl Tiger and his friend with their Ozzie thong and water pistols. :)

Looks pretty good. I don't have Bangalows along my creek, but I do have Carpies. Don't have that topography either. And my creek has teeth, so not the best of swimming spots either.

Wonderful spot, great photos........ evokes memories of my childhood growing up at Mount Tamborine......... Likewise I don't have Bangalows but Alexandras instead and yes some of our creeks have teeth too.

Wow! beautiful place. This is someone's property or is it a public park? Can't believe your son being so precariously perched on that waterfall ledge. Fearless youthfulness.

No Lodoicea along this creek?
