According to the map my area coldest time of the year is December 1-15th. This year the coldest was in November & December at 21F. But December cold was shorter lived. Average daytime high starts to go up here starting in early January, about every 10 days. But we can still get cold in February.

If I remember correctly, 2007 here in California the weather was nice and warm right through mid Jan when all COLD broke loose.

Dec 25 is listed as the coldest day here.. and then it slowly warms up after that.. tonight looks as it will be the coldest night of the season with lows into 8a.

Palm Crazy 21F huh? not too shabby.
