Tours of Two Private Gardens in Tampa

PLANT AUCTION AND SALE

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

10:00am- 3:00pm

TOUR #1 – 7225 N Mobley Rd, Odessa, FL 33556 (Map to Radha's Garden)

Radha Kanuri Garden, 10:00 – 11:30. Radha has a 1 acre garden that has been over 4 years in the making. Located in North West Tampa, she has many types of Palms, Cycads and numerous Fruit Trees overlooking beautiful Rock Lake. Oak and Cypress canopy complement this great location.

TOUR #2 – 8336 W Forest Circle, Tampa, FL 33615 (Map to Frank's Garden)

Frank Tintara Garden (The Banana Patch) – 12:00pm – 3:00pm – This 1 acre garden is heavily planted with Palms and numerous Fruit Trees. Frank started his garden over 49 years ago, so there is mature canopy throughout. Multiple paths to explore in this tropical jungle garden. If you are also interested in fruit trees, Frank is the guy to talk to.

Lunch at Stop #2 – Pulled pork sandwiches and Empanadas CFPACS members eat free; non-members $6. Served from 12:00-1:00 - Members asked to bring a side dish of either salad, fruit or dessert. Drinks will be provided.

Plant Auction – Following the garden tour. Plant Sale will immediately follow the auction.

BOTH GARDEN TOURS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE CFPACS TOURS $6 for lunch if you’re not a member – Suggestion: bring a chair and a plant for the Auction
