Well, it's not really a Travel Logs, but close enough. And the photos probably won't make you want to move here, but it is my state, so I am happy to show off some of the good here.

Those oaks and bald cypress are really impressive, thanks for posting.

Corpus Christi, TX, near salt water, zone 9b/10a! Except when it isn't and everything gets nuked.

I have a good friend from Louisiana, what strikes me the most about Louisiana is the spirit of the place, really wonderful people!

You have to see this movie, it really gets to the heart of the Spirit of Louisiana.

Loved my trip to Louisiana last November, stayed in Shreveport, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, and of course, NOLA...very friendly folks and positive vibes in the air...would truly be a great place to live! If I had to pick somewhere, I'd probably pick Baton Rouge...GEAUX TIGERS!...and the hour drive to New Orleans isn't bad...;)
