Trachy starting to flower

Trachys starting to flower. Good sign of health, especially after a very tough NYC winter! I guess my winter protection is a keeper for next winter. How did everyone's Trachys hold up in the northeast this winter? When should I fertilize my trachys? I hope everyone has a great growing season. Robert

Hey Robert, looking great. I kind of remember when you started posting here and I thought wow, palms in NYC?, and definitely remember your winter set up.

Is this the first time it's flowering? Curious whether it's male or female. You're not far behind our Trachy which started flowering a few weeks ago (Calif).

How are the other palms doing?

Zone 9b (formerly listed as Zone 9a); Sunset 14

I’m going to guess a female since males are almost blooming here. How many others do you have in the ground?

Good job getting it through the winter safely. :greenthumb:
