Tropical?

Im just looking back at those Butia posts and its fascinating and informative.

However Butia is not tropical.

Ive always wanted a true tropical and Queen is just that (and closely related to Butias.

Its tropical, sub-tropical and warm temperate (wow!)

Its laughed its way thro winter and is screaming out for high nitrate fert!

Queen looks tropical, but for here butia looks also tropical :) And it's a very nice palm, i have them both. If i must choose, i choose also for the queen ... but a butia is hardier :)

I disagree.  I think a large trunked, for example, 20-25 foot CT Butia looks very tropical.  Of course it takes forever to get that large.
