Up Close and Personal with Metroxlylon vitiense

Recommended Posts

This past week we've been doing some tree trimming with the big lift over at Mike's (waykoolplantz) place, so we figured we'd take a closer look at the how the M. vitiense seeds were coming along. I figured some people might be interested in seeing some pics from above, so here they are along with some other shots of the garden.

The big silver Bailey Mike has looked incredible from above.

WOW !!! You'll have Dave doing backflips and an equal amount of foward rolls with these pics.

"Stunning" is not enough to describe, "out of this world" is close.

One of the many great collections of palms here in south Florida. For any of those that might be coming to the upcoming 2014 Biennial in May, Mike's garden is a most definite garden to see.

Beautiful photos, a big mahalo! It's really a benefit living in an area where spectacular palm gardens are abundant.

Definite or definitive?

Mike's garden is the most complete private, local palm garden I have ever been to--to a palm person, it is world renowned(not to mention hanging out with Mike is a BLAST). Mike has so many palms thriving that are thought to be 'no grows' here in South Florida.

Awesome shots, Rory--you look like you are way higher up than you prolly are...
