Trachycarpus wagnerianus X Trachycarpus nanus

Hallo Jost

That's a very nice plant, Jost. Is this the 10 yrs old? I have the reverse cross which is much more common apparently (I bought it because I don't have any flowering trachy at the moment). It's got huge leaves. I would love to know more about your hybrid too. Will you leave it potted?

I like it man. Where did you find it? It likes like a nice Trachy and I would like to find one. I just love hybrid palms.

That looks really nice. T wagnerianus might make nice crosses with other Trachys as well.

Dick Douglas told me years ago that all of the Takigeii dwarfs he ever owned over the decades turned into T wagnerianus eventually.

Here some photo's off the WaggyXNanus plant I have.

Some 25-26 month's old.

Very interesting to see how this develops.
