inflorescence in sabal species

Sabal are clumped and grouped a great deal. I grew up around Sabal Palmetto and notice subtle differences in between Palmetto grown in different areas and more importantly in different conditions. One thing

that I have really noticed aside from the obvious traits such as trunk size, trunk color, boot retainment, leaf color, or leaf shape is that the flowering structures also vary greatly and that there isn't allot of information

on the net about the differences between species which is a big help when identifying them. Many species of palm have been granted full species and not variety status do to their flowering structure. What

experience do some of you have with different Sabal species. I will try to post pictures of mine as well as some that I have found on the net and among friends and fellow growers. Thank you for your input.
