The similarities between Miami and Honolulu are striking. South Florida has been fortunate so far this winter, with no significant Arctic blasts. The cold fronts that have made it off the SE Florida coast have had the cold high pressure area behind them move off the SE US coast (GA/Carolinas/Virginia) rather quickly, giving the mild NE winds over SoFl. However there are still 3 more months to go and a few lows in the 30s are still possible even for SE Florida.
