1 year old, condapanna & caesia

I bought these two beauties approximately a year ago from Luke Nancarrow and equatorial exotics. I originally potted them up, but with the warm winter we had, quickly transferred them into the ground 3 months ago, where they have taken to like a duck in water.

Thanks Wal, pretty much full sun till 10 then completely in shade for the rest of the day.

That sounds about right to me.

Great growing there Paul!!

This will be a garden to watch!! For those that don't know Paul, he has a keen taste for the rare and exotic palms and he certainly has the enthusiasm and energy to give his palms and garden the very best chance of becoming legendary!!

Well done Paul!! I know you will keep it up!!

Top palms. Cant wait to see the progress on that caesia. I find the condapanna a rocket. What do you guys think?

Certainly two great palms and yours look very healthy!

As to speed, hard for me to judge since my B. condapanna was pruned by cows. It was planted in 4/11, probably from a 4" pot and the photo was taken 8/13.

In comparison, my Pinanga caesia was planted a year earlier (4/10), also from a 4" pot and shown 8/13. The cows didn't find this one....
